Before her life-changing accident, Claire was a highly accomplished triathlete, with an ambition to compete professionally. From the moment of her accident, Claire was determined to return to the sport that she loved.
Pre-accident Achievements
May 2019 - European Triathlon Champion
In May 2019 Claire was crowned European Standard Distance Triathlon Age Group Champion in the 30-34 age group.
May 2019 - Age Group Winner - Ironman UK 70.3
In May 2019 Claire was age group winner at Ironman UK 70.3 in Staffordshire.
June 2019 - Overall winner of the London Triathlon
In June 2019 Claire was overall winner of the London Triathlon.

- December 2019 – First 10km push in a wheelchair
- October 2020 – First duathlon
- July 2021 – Second place National Triathlon Championships
- August 2021 – First wheelchair athlete to compete in the 255 triathlon (5km swim, 200km bike, 50km push)
- April 2022 – British Paraduathlon Champion
- June 2022 – Second place National Triathlon Championships
- July 2022 – Hand-cycled from London to Paris
- September 2022 – Winner of the National Paratriathlon Series
- November 2022 – Winner of the para-athlete category in Ironman Turkey 70.3
Professional Cyclist
In December 2022 Claire was selected as a member of the British Cycling team. During her first season as a professional hand-cyclist, Claire competed in two World Cups and finished the season at the 2023 UCI World Championships in Glasgow.
